Great place. Their calamaris are better than at many sea-side restaurants. Their homemade tartar is epic. They also serve fresh bread made by them. The potato made under the bell is also excellent. A full service. Top recommendations.

Road side restaurant for travellers. Typical Croatian rostered whole lamb and whole pork, Barbecues meats. Their cevapici (minced meat rolls) is recommended. They offer freshly baked homemade breads. Ask for local wines they are fairly good quality and at reasonable price. Also they have homemade alcholic drinks from cherry, peach, apricot. Surrounded by forest, a nice place to break a trip for refreshment. Parking is available. Family friendly, has kids menu.

Croatian people know all about 'Vruća janjetina' which literally mean 'hot lamb', local delicatesse and specialty, so this review is for foreigners, tourists and travelers. If you a meat lover It's difficult to find better dish, and 'janjetina s ražnja' goes easily in Top 5 meals you can have in Balkan region which spans from Croatia, across Bosnia and Herzegowina, Serbia all the was to North Macedonia. Prices drops from west to east, but have to question yourself what about quality? In Croatia price per kilogram of hot grilled lamb goes up to 200kn (up to 300kn/kg on Adriatic coast). 1kg is for 2 people, with potatoes, salad, fresh onions and bread (all separately needs to be order and it's not included in 200kn/kg for lamb) but you will not stay hungry. This everybody knows. What you don't know will lamb be younger age or older, older means more grease, not so tender meat... Well, we had really high expectations from Vilibald cuisine, terrace is nice, decorated in old fashion way (or maybe just haven't been decorated since '90s), live music, people who likes to relax and enjoy, service on time as we didn't waited to long for drinks and meal. But unfortunatelly main dish 'hot lamb' came barely warm, a lot of parts were just picked in not good order, maybe waiter could/should have asked which parts you wanna, I don't know, anyways 4 of us ordered 3kg of lamb 'just to be sure' all better parts will be on plate, and ended with almost 2kg of bones. And that's not a problem. Problem was oversalted meat, which was not hot, to many big parts with more greese then meat. I can't say It was not eatable, It was, but hey, we are paying 600kuna for this and expected maybe some ribs, or even better tenderlicious mouth watering neck parts. Word 'krto meso' would describe what we got, those parts unlike skin was not salty. I can say It's tasteless and a bit of chewing challenge. Meat should melt in your mouth. Unlike meat, domestic baked potatoes, salad, bread, fresh onions were fantastic. Veggie guys could enjoy here more then us meat lovers But here focus is on lamb. I wish we had better parts so my review could at least be 4, but trying to be objective. Drinks are good, cold and refreshing, coffee starts from 7kuna, beer (half liter Ozujsko) is 15kuna, Coca-cola (0.25liter) is 15kuna. At the moment I am not sure when and where would be my next time to stop for 'hot lamb' next to the road.
