Macy's has definitely changed over the years. As with many brick and mortar department stores, the attention to details and services has declined.
There seemed to be only one check out for merchandise, other than the jewelry counter. There were no attendants for the dressing room, so no help if you needed anything.
I did have to check out at the jewelry counter but the clerk was accommodating and didn't try to send me back to the dress department.
Apparently at North Lake store, non congruent formal wear is an additional 50% off. I can get with a $200 Calvin Klein dress for $50 bucks.

First time at this location. CJ was so helpful! I needed to upgrade and exchange a gift in the jewelry dept. She made the process very easy.
They had what I came in for and I left very happy! Late birthday gift!

The only reason for 1 star is there wasn’t a 0. I needed a suit in short order for a family funeral. I arrived when the store opened & found my way to the mens section. I was there for over an hour & not a sole came & asked if I needed any help or even just to say good morning. I picked what I found & had to ask where was the checkout. I told that person about the customer service & he literally didn’t say anything. I’m 68 yrs old & remember going to macy’s as a child & young man & always thought it was quality service with quality merchandise. After today I see that is no longer the way & I will never spend another dime at that store. I’ll also advise anyone who asks about shopping there.

I love shopping at Macy's Dept store for myself and my whole family from clothes to homegoods and always fragrances but I especially dont like this particular location. This store is dated and dirty. As soon as you walk in you are met with darkness. The lighting is awful and consistent with the overall appearance. They need to clean up, lighten up the place and hire more staff. Employees are hard to find and when you finally do they are either not helpful or unaware.

One of the best Macy's store in Atlanta with good collection of gent's clothing. They have good collection of women's and kids clothing, Kitchen utensils, Cooking ware, Beddings and travel accessories. Store is well maintained and has excellent customer service.

Just want to give a huge shoutout to Joanne Lockett at customer service. She definitely knows how to find the best deals for the customers, I saved around 100 dollars thanks to her!! She was kind and very patient,,,I will definitely be coming back to the store more often!

I know the malls are slowing down...almost like a ghost town.
But I love all the sales people at Northlake Macy's.
Helpful
Happy and always smiling.
I hope they don't close this one down.
I have been going here for 30+ years

Horrible, I needed a mens dress shirt and their selection was ridiculous, 3 different shirts available only. Wth, this is Macy's why do you have no product in your store? I'm disappointed at best with the experience.

I love going to Macys though the guy at the return desk Ty, makes my Macys experience 1000x better; I have so many returns though he’s always so positive and just an awesome person! He never shows boredom, tiredness or attitude and he’s honestly such an awesome worker! I’m writing this review specifically for Ty! Whenever I go to Macys I always look for him!

The store is a MESS, absolutely no store employees. Had to hunt down a cashier that could help me with my purchase. The lights were out in a major portion of the store with no explanation. I could go on but will stop here.
