We had a great time at Rocky Top. Would have given it 5 stars, but there was a lot of noise from construction. This means they are improving the park. Despite the daytime noise, the park was clean and well cared for. (Construction was them adding sites). We understood that they can’t improve without construction. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when they are finished. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Our 2 week stay at Rocky Top Campground could not have been better. Our pull through site was perfect. The campground is very well maintained and all of the RVs were up to date. The staff is helpful and friendly. This will be our destination campground when we return to the Bristol, TN area.

The campground is clean and neat. We met a wonderful young campsite worker, named James, that helped us get the electricity to function properly. We had had a very challenging travel day and his kindness was greatly appreciated.
After our departure we realized we did not have our wallet. I called the office and the manager was good enough to go check the grouds around our site. It helped us to know we did leave it there. Thank you, Miguel.
Friendliness and kindness is so important; especially for visitors that have spent long travel hours. So, we recommend improvement when greeted upon arrival.
To the owner, you are making very nice improvements.

What a lovely weekend we had at Rocky Top Campground. The facility was quiet and clean and the sites were private and nicely landscaped. The bathrooms were clean and air conditioned. This was our first time camping in quite some time. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the campground. Only “complaint” is that it would have been nice to know there was construction right across from the site. However, the owner and employees were really nice and gave us some firewood for our quiet nights around the pit. We will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

We had a long day of travel and arrived 3 hours later than anticipated. The paperwork was at the outside office so it was easy to complete our registration. The campsite was easy to get into. We would stay there again. Nice quiet adult campground. Thank you!!!

Easy on/off of I-81 and VERY quiet. The grounds are immaculate. There's a steep hill you must ascend heading to the sites and the road is a little narrow; but, we had no problem maneuvering our 35' Class A motorhome with a tow vehicle through the park.

This campground was terrible. Arrived at four PM and this was the “campsite” they gave us. I booked a reservation here months in advance for two weeks. They gave my reserved site a way and put us in a construction site not a campsite. Just up the dirt hill there was construction equipment pushing rocks and dirt in to my “campsite”. We left as soon as possible. Being that it is close to the 4th of July it took us two days to make other arrangements. They refunded my stay but still had the nerve to charge me $65 per night for the two nights we had to stay while we made other arrangements. I would give them zero stars if l could. The last three pictures are of sites similar to what I reserved. This is definitely not what we got.

Quiet, well landscaped, and clean. Adults only. Hilly, but they excavated well and laid crushed stone. Firepits and grills on sites. Transient sites are nicely arranged. Easy access to services. Cable and WiFi worked as expected. Not a large place and kind of in the middle if nowhere. Seems like it is a summer retreat for locals more than a week or month long destination. For an overnight I would save my $76 and stay at the Cracker Barrell at the highway exit.

Very nice and QUIET campground.
Keep in mind this place is adults only, not as in clothing optional but no kids allowed. I’m totally fine with that as there’s a nice KOA less than a half mile away if you have kids.
We stayed here one night on a trip to southern TN. It’s a very nice and quiet campground which is perfect for us. They have FHU (30A) and cable TV which was a bonus. Site 29 is a pull through and very level.
Shower house/bathroom is very clean and hot water was quick to come.
Very convenient to I-81 and Bristol/Kingsport. Would be a great base camp for race weekends without noise all night long.
Wi-Fi is good, strong enough at site 29 to stream our TV.
